Korea Nakajo Expands Overseas Exports of Korean-Made Ice Shavers and Ice Makers
Snowflake ice shaver manufacturer Korea Nakajo Co., Ltd. announced on the 2nd that it has successfully exported its snowflake ice shavers and ice makers across Asia, paving the way for global market expansion.
In May, Korea Nakajo exported its snowflake ice shavers and ice makers not only to China, but also to Japan, Malaysia, and the Philippines. The company’s snowflake ice shaver ICEVAN and ice maker Ice Dispenser are currently in use in a variety of establishments, including local snowflake ice dessert cafés, resort facilities, and coffee shops. At present, the company is also in active export discussions with the United States, Mexico, and Thailand, which have shown strong interest in its snowflake ice shavers.
A Korea Nakajo representative explained that the company’s patented “Automatic Temperature Control Valve” is the key factor behind its overseas export success.
The valve is designed to automatically regulate the amount of cooling water through a temperature-sensing sensor, ensuring stable performance even in hot and humid climates. In fact, some overseas stores located in high-temperature regions have replaced competing ice shavers that failed to operate properly with Korea Nakajo’s snowflake ice shavers. The ICEVAN Mini snowflake ice shaver, in particular, features a turntable system that allows users to make snowflake ice more hygienically and conveniently.
The representative stated, “As more snowflake ice specialty cafés expand overseas, the response to our snowflake ice shavers in global markets has been extremely positive. Increasingly, foreign partners interested in snowflake ice shavers are reaching out to us directly through online searches, and we expect our overseas exports to continue growing actively in the future.”
